On 8 November students in Years 3–6 got to visit the Kellco Rural cattle sales as part of their English unit.
The students learnt about how the sale worked, why it is important to Monto and surrounds and brainstormed many descriptions with rich vocabulary to put into the poems they are writing. The students are looking forward to sharing their poems when they are complete.
A huge thanks to KellCo Rural Agencies Monto for allowing us to visit and to Mr Cavanagh and Mr Clarke for visiting out school to answer our students questions this afternoon. Thanks to Niikki from BIEDO for talking to our students as well.
